My name is Sven (38), and I am the owner of Schwedenliebe. I founded Schwedenliebe in the summer of 2017 after working for three years at a holiday home agency – taking the step into self-employment. I’m supported by my partner, who is mainly responsible for documentation.
Before we emigrated to Sweden in early 2014, I completed my vocational diploma in Business and Administration and trained as a bank clerk at the Sparkasse. The knowledge I gained through this training and my time at the bank has been a great help and a solid foundation for my path into self-employment.
We are familiar with the layout and features of each holiday home.
We explore the surrounding area of the property.
We know the homeowners or property managers personally.
We can answer specific questions about the house or its location directly, without detours.
We stay in regular contact with the homeowners who list their properties with us.
Unlike many of our competitors, we regularly revisit our listed homes. This allows us to carry out new inspections quickly whenever there are changes to a property.

Our guests spend the most important time of the year – their well-earned holiday – in our holiday homes. That’s why it’s so important to us to describe and present each home as accurately and thoroughly as possible. Our goal is for our guests to walk through the door and say: “This is exactly how I imagined it.”
Before we add a holiday home to our portfolio, we speak with the owners about how we work and gather initial information about the property. If we believe the home fits our program, we arrange a viewing. During the visit, we walk through the house together with the owners and examine everything in detail. We then document all key aspects of the interior, the location, and any additional features (boats, cleaning services, sauna, etc.).
Finally, we take photos and videos of the home – both inside and out. This is the most time-consuming, but also the most important part of the inspection. We place great value on high-quality images and videos so that our guests can see everything clearly in high resolution. Ideally, this creates a feeling of “I’ve already been here” when they arrive.
